The literal translation of Puri Dewi Sri is `Home of the Rice Goddess`, and as you arrive at the entrance gate, with views of terraced padi`s on both sides,it is easy to see why.Set in Padang Linjong, Canggu and only a four minute drive to Echo Beach, a popular surfing spot,

this villa is designed to give the best possible views of both the natural surroundings and the extensively landscaped gardens.The villas` three separate buildings make use of a sloping site, that was once part of the rice terraces.  All are finished to a high standard, with marble and granite used extensively, and with mainly contemporary style furniture.Only fifteen minutes drive from Nirwana Golf Complex, and twenty five minutes to Seminyak, for night life, five star hotels and restaurants, this villa provides a taste of the real Bali while enjoying all the modern amenities that make for a relaxing holiday.
Down steps along another thatched walkway will bring you to the first of the main indoor living areas. This is a two storey octagonal shaped building, with large windows and sliding doors for a light and airy feel. An impressive feature of this building is the eight metre span, umbrella style thatched roof.


Entering through the contemporary style Balinese gate, opens up views of the extensively landscaped gardens and surrounding countryside that is a feature of the villa. Turning right brings you to the entrance of the outdoor pavilion along a thatched roof, marble and stone walkway, surrounded by a well stocked fishpond and waterfall. As you enter, to the left is a raised seating area and `Bale` with cushions for lounging. To the rear of the seating area is an open stone staircase leading to an open air lounge, where you can enjoy views of the rice fields on both sides. To the right of the entrance is a fully fitted kitchen, with half shutter doors that can be folded back to allow cooling breezes in. The outdoor dining area is adjacent to the kitchen with seating for six in a contemporary style.

Downstairs has contemporary style bamboo furniture, with Chinese style storage cabinets. To the rear is the main bathroom, with separate shower, bathtub and contemporary style fittings with an outside shower in a small pebble garden.

Upstairs, reached using a spiral staircase, is the mezzanine bedroom, with Chinese style king size bed, with dressing room and en-suite toilet/wash basin. A door opens on to a timber floored covered balcony, ideal for viewing the swimming pool and garden.

The single storey bungalow has the same octagonal shape and similar roof construction as the two storey, but is positioned closer to the swimming pool. The king size bed is Chinese style with rich earth tone coloured covers and cushions. The furniture is contemporary style banana leaf with neutral tones throughout. To the rear is the bathroom, featuring large glass windows that look out on to a private pebble garden full of bougainvillea etc. There is a separate shower and bathtub all with modern fittings.
Stepping out of the bungalow brings you to the large palimanan stone surround of the swimming pool. There are loungers, tables and umbrellas to shelter from the sun, while you can enjoy the pool with its infinity edge and fresh salt water feel.To the left of the outdoor pavilion with views of the garden is a thatched roof gazebo, which can be used for breakfast or evening drinks.

A deposit of 50% of the full rental amount, must be received by the agent within five (5) working days after the invoice and payment instructions have been given to the hirer. The booking will be cancelled if a deposit is not received within this time.

Final payment is required 45 days before arrival (60 days for New Year/Christmas bookings) or immediately if booking is made less than 45 days before arrival (or 60 days for New Year/Christmas bookings).

Where bookings are made 45days or less before arrival, full payment is required within five (5) working days, or on arrival, if less than five (5) working days, whichever comes first.
